WHERE TO SELL OPPORTUNITY

Here is a list of several malls, directories and link exchanges where people sell their opportunity.

http://everydaybusinessonline.com/adsites.htm

START A GOOGLE ADSENSE CAMPAIGN

Start a Google AdSense campaign to generate advertising revenue from your blog. It's easy to set up an AdSense account, and have targeted ads displayed to your online readers. Apply at http://adsense.google.com/.  This can be a great source of revenue, though of course the amount of income you can expect from your AdSense ads will depend on the amount of traffic to your blog. The more traffic you receive, the more people are likely to click through the ads displayed on your site -- and the more revenue for you!

AFFILIATE PROGRAMS

Affiliate Programs are one of the best ways to get tons of interested visitors to your site by having other people do the legwork, promoting your web site for you. And the best part is that there's absolutely no risk to you because you don't pay a dime unless visitors referred by your affiliates buy your product or service -- so you don't pay out commissions unless you already have cash in hand! An Affiliate Program (also referred to as a "Reseller" or "Associate" Program) is a way to get other people to promote your product or service. For every customer (not visitor) that your "affiliates" send to your web site, you pay them a commission. Your affiliates send visitors to your web site using banner ads, text links, letters of referral, etc... and you track these visitors using special software. For every visitor who decides to buy, you pay your affiliate a commission -- a percentage of the profits you make. There are no up-front advertising costs, because you only pay your affiliates for advertising that gets you sales. It's extremely low-risk. Setting up your own affiliate program doesn't cost much at all if you're prepared to do some work yourself. But today, you can use software to automatically keep track of which affiliate made which sale and exactly how much you owe each affiliate. Tracking 10,000 affiliates is just as easy as tracking one!

A number of software programs are available to manage your affiliate program, but you'll want to check out a few to see how easy they are to set up and use.

AFFILIATE PROGRAMS AND BLOGS

Join an affiliate program and start promoting their products on your blog. You don't even need your own product to get started! You can place ads for your affiliate products on your blog, or write articles or product reviews that contain your affiliate link. You receive a percentage of each sale made when readers click through your links and make a purchase.

SECURE LINKS FROM ANOTHER RELATED WEB SITE

Another way to drive highly targeted traffic to your web site it to persuade other related links in your industry to link to you. A link from another well-respected webmaster establishes your credibility. How to do it? You need to do some research. Who would you most like a link from? Search web sites and collect personal contact information. When contacting them, focus on "what's in it for them" What's great about this is what you have this set up, it could easily bring you traffic for a long time. This can take some time to setup, but it's worth the effort.

GET YOUR SITE ON PAID DIRECTORIES

This can boost your ranking with the free search engines. A directory is an indexed listing of sites that's managed by people, not run by computers. Some are free; others cost $10 to $100. Place ads and banners on other sites Consider paying to place a banner ad or pop-up on a site that pertains to what you are doing. You can even submit your ad to classified ad web sites and databases. Consider a tasteful pop-up offering people a valuable offer, like a coupon, can still generate a high click-through rate - especially when it's placed on a page with relevant content. There is even new technology available that allow you to create ads that look like pop-ups, but they're actually in the html code of the web page.

PURCHASE AD SPACE ON
ON-LINE NEWSLETTERS AND E-ZINES

Online newsletters have a specific market so you are placing your ads in front of your best potential customers. Consider who the readers are and how many subscribers. Also, how big your ad is and where will it be placed. You can search the internet to find some, and you can also search the sites listed below for newsletters:

http://ezine-universe.com/
http://www.ezinehub.com/
http://www.newsletteraccess.com/
http://www.zdnet.com/filters/email/
http://gort.ucsd.edu/newjour/
http://www.nwwsubscribe.com/foc36/

E-zines are popping up everywhere on the 'Net these days, all catering to very different niche markets. And just like offline magazines, a lot of them need to sell advertising in order to stay profitable. By placing an ad in these publications, you can increase your site's exposure and "piggyback" on the e-zine's reputation, encouraging readers to click on the ad and check out your site. But first, you'll have to do some research to discover which e-zines and online trade journals are popular with your niche market. The cost of running an e-zine ad can vary anywhere from $20 to $100 per ad, depending on the e-zine and the type of ads they publish. It's generally safe to assume that more popular e-zines charge more for their ads.

To learn more about which e-zines are going to be the best places for you to advertise, here are a few sites to check out:

PLACING ONLINE CLASSIFIED ADS

Online classified ads can be a great source of income. There are well over 1,000 free classified ad sites on the Net. Depending on how much traffic a particular site gets, it may be a few days before someone clicks through your ad to your site. To get the best results, you need to submit your ad to as many sites as you possibly can. Participate In Relevant Newsgroups Forums are terrific. People in forums are actively involved in discussing their business opportunities. You can easily find contact information in forums (a lot of people use forums not only as a means of discussion but advertising for their opportunity) if you call them saying you saw their post and were wondering about their opportunity, they'll bite. This technique takes a serious commitment and this is about selling yourself as someone with a wealth of knowledge to share. People in this community want to share information. Some good places to start looking for discussion boards and newsgroups related to your area of interest include…

http://groups.google.com/
http://www.talkcity.com/
http://www.topica.com/
http://www.forumone.com/index/index.php …

but a quick search in any major search engine should also produce good boards and chat rooms to check out.

PAY-PER-CLICK

With Pay-Per-Click, you bid for the top positions under keywords of your choice. The major advantage is you only pay when someone actually clicks through to your site. And, rather than waiting to have your site listed with many of the other search engines, your site can be listed from a couple of hours to a couple of days. The key to be being ranked #1 is to outbid the other sites.

Some pay per click search engines offer new advertisers free search credits to begin their campaigns or bonuses for signing up. You probably won't get a lot of traffic from these pay per click search engines individually but if you sign up for several they can be a substantial source of traffic for your site. However, if you choose the more popular ones, it can become expensive. When considering how much to bid, take into consideration the visitor to sale ratio and your profit margin. If you choose pay-per-click search engines with less traffic, you will have a better chance of purchasing top positions for less money. There are some where you can place bids of 1 and 2 cents on popular keywords! If you're not paying as much, and are able to get traffic, it would definitely be worth it.

To find listings of pay-per-click search engines, search for "pay-per-click search engines" There are over 200 pay-per-click search engines. Avoid keywords that are too general. More general keywords will attract a lot of traffic, driving up the cost of your PPC campaign and converting few visitors to sales because general search terms are not specific enough to attract the right audience. Find the keywords that your market is searching for There is a program called Wordtracker that can display the results for keywords in a search engine. A free trial version of WordTracker is available at: www.marketingtips.com/wordtracker. There is also a much more robust paid version as well.
